Justin Ryan was born in the little town of Paducah, KY. Having a love for music at a very early age, he began singing to separate himself from his troubled homelife. By age 8, his grandmother had encouraged him to sing in public for the first time.
Justin traveled all over the local area singing in churches, with different vocal groups, all before the age of 14.
Justin has shared the stage with contemporary greats such as the Nelons, Matchbox 20, the Dixie Chicks, and the late Vestal Goodman. He has a natural ability to teach children, with a remarkable history as a youth director and coordinator of programs and events. Justin has also composed and recorded jingles for both television and radio.
At the age of 16, Justin toured with Music City Tonight favorite Terry Mike Jeffrey and his band. This band was well known for performing at different Elvis tribute functions, sharing the stage with Elvis’s TCB Band and the Sweet Inspirations.
Justin is an accomplished Background Vocalist, having sung on cuts with such artists as Porter Wagoner, Dottie Rambo, Christie Lynn, Mel Tillis, Lulu Roman, and many more.
Mark Moseley, veteran producer and engineer at Sound Control in Nashville, TN, heard Justin sing at a private function, and immediately recognized his talent and ability to sing any type of Christian Music. This first album showcases just that. His voice touches the heart and soul of everyone who listens.
For Justin it has been a journey of raw faith, trusting in God, and leading others to Christ. Being able to minister through his experiences of heartache and joy, he has given others the hope that they, too, can make it, not just in music, but in life. The biggest blessing in his life is that he knew when to “Surrender” to Christ.
